To achieve optimal therapeutic outcomes, it is crucial to remind your patients to replace their therapy supplies in line with the suggested timeframe. The replacement timeframes outlined on this sheet are derived from clinical research and manufacturer recommendations.
Mask Replacement

Full face cushion
Overtime and use,the silicone onthe cushion can become worn,damaged orunable to be cleanedthoroughly.
When: Replace as often as everymonth, depending on condition

Nasal cushion and nasal pillow
Overtime and use,the silicone onthe cushion can become worn,damaged orunable to be cleanedthoroughly.
When: Replace as often as twice amonth, depending on condition.

headgear
Over time and use, headgear maybecome stretched andloseelasticity, leading to over-tightening and discomfort.
When: Replace as often as every 6months, depending on condition.
Devices & tubing replacement
Disposable filter
If the environment is particularly humid or dusty, then the disposable filter won’t last as long. Visual inspection is the key to determining disposable filter life.
When: As often as twice a month depending on condition
CPAP device
The typical life span of a CPAP device is 5 to 7 years. We highly recommend getting a backup CPAP machine especially if your current machine is more than a couple of years old. That way you’ll never be without a CPAP machine, even when one of yours stops working.
When: Every 5 years
Tubing
For maximum comfort we recommend replacing your tubing regularly.
When: As often as every 3 months depending on condition
Oral nasal mask cushions

Humidifier Replacement
